"We are so happy that we decided to sign our 10-year-old son up for karate here! He started as a white belt about a month ago, and already, we can see how much he enjoys coming to class. In fact, whenever the session ends, he doesn’t want to leave and is always excited to come back for the next class! Master Curry is wonderful. He is very kind and welcoming to parents, while also being appropriately strict and disciplined with the students. I really appreciate this balance because I want my son to learn not only karate, but also how to listen, respect others, stay focused, and develop a strong mind and body. The staff and instructors are amazing teachers as well. Everyone is patient, encouraging, and great with the kids. Master Curry has also been very understanding and flexible with us when we have been running late, which we truly appreciate. My son has only been here for about a month, but I already wish we had signed him up sooner! Most importantly, he genuinely enjoys being here, and I’m excited to see how much he will grow—not only in karate, but also in confidence, discipline, and character. Highly recommend!"

"My son loved it at first. He became more responsible and confident with his clases but it quickly became boring and he didn’t want to go anymore. It was also difficult for me personally to take him to classes but I was constantly asked to come more days. I was harassed to buy a $100 video that they recorded for him to practice at home and a bunch of protective gear… I was made feel bad because I prioritized his studying hours vs his martial arts and for not adding more practice hours. I felt uncomfortable and left."

"My son has ADHD, and he is on the spectrum. He is a special needs child. I was happy because we were able to sign up for the Karate class with Master Curry. His class teaches many different kicks, punches and grappling. Our son enjoyed going to the class because the Masters are helpful and super friendly. Our son has been attending to this class for five months now, and he was able to be learned and understand because all the masters are very patience, encouraged, and Kind. I will recommend anyone to join this class, I made an excellent choice by joining Master Curry Karate Jujutsu Ryu."

"My son is 4 and started with Master Curry’s Karate in late January and loves coming to this class. One of the things I love about this Dojo is that he incorporates jujutsu into his classes. I feel this helps kids / people with real life situations and how to get themselves out of them safely (hopefully). I have seen some young girls grappling and put boys in holds and get themselves out of them. It is absolutely amazing and I love my child is learning discipline, technique and responsibility while also having fun."

"Although I don’t go to this martial arts academy, I had the privilege to meet Master Curry himself at a Tournament. Even though he wasn’t my master, when I had been disqualified during a sparring match, he came up to me and my father and complimented me on how I was a great fighter and my fighting technique and abilities were solid before giving me some advice on what to work on to avoid getting disqualified next time. If this master is willing to help out some random young martial artist at a tournament, who has absolutely nothing to do with him, then imagine how he would help your child if you enrolled in his martial arts program with him. If I were you and you wanted to send your kid to a good martial arts school, I would send them here, if you lived near there of course."
